MMA is a thrilling fast-paced sport with tremendous technical depth. Since the early days of Royce Gracie and UFC 1, submission grappling has shown itself to be an effective skill set in the cage. Many champions of both early and modern day MMA have utilized a grappling-heavy style to beat the competition.

The NESF Boston No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu curriculum builds the foundational elements needed to apply grappling in the cage. We teach highly effective takedowns from both Judo and Wrestling, as well as the dominant style of positional control. We promote core defensive concepts to avoid submissions and damage from strikes.
